Using National Core Indicators Data to Understand the Experiences of Adults with Intellectual and
Developmental Disabilities in Oklahoma Kami Gallus, Ph.D., & Jennifer Jones, Ph.D., Dept. of Human Development & Family Science, OSU Comment from Dr. Gallus after the seminar:
"Resiliency is an important factor in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). While strides have been made to enhance the quality of life of individuals with IDD, more research is needed on the outcomes of current service and supports. By gathering the opinion and perspectives of adults receiving services and supports provided through Oklahoma Department of Human Services – Developmental Disabilities Services, the Oklahoma National Core Indicators – Adult Consumer Survey research project is a key component to enhancing resilience among individuals with IDD in Oklahoma."
